The Chingay Parade is a big Singaporean celebration at the end of the Lunar New Year
Here are some static displays related to the celebration

Scott was born in the year of the Horse

An upscale hawker center by the bay.
Next day - going to see the actual parade from the stands, with a very enthusiastic Shelly
These stands are actually over the race car pits that were built for the Formula 1 race held at the end of September.
In the background are the Singapore Flyer ferris wheel and the Marina Bay Sands.
The parade opens with a dragon, of course.
As you watch the parade, try to remember that the entire island's population is 5 million people.
